A common question from anyone looking to hire a professional painter is, "What will this cost?" At RPD, our pricing structure is standardized, though it may vary depending on your specific requirements. We invite you to schedule a free consultation with one of our experts, who will provide a detailed, transparent estimate for each aspect of your project. In the meantime, we’re happy to offer a general overview of our pricing to help you better understand the costs involved.

Lets Talk About Pricing

Our estimating process has been designed to be as streamlined, accurate and as fair as possible.

Some companies simply multiply the square footage to be painted by a fixed number. Other contractors will walk through your space without taking measurements and estimate how many days the project should take and multiply that by a daily rate. while both of these ways can be utilized, they tend to leave a lot of room for error. Either by over estimating and costing you more money, or by underestimating which leads to either, rushed work or extra unplanned charges.

Our method aims to correct both of these mistakes. When we estimate a paint job we will measure each room, taking into account the conditions of the surfaces and making note of any repairs or extra prep-work needed. We then calculate the square footage and divide that by our average working pace, that gets multiplied by our labor rate and then add in cost of materials. We have found this approach to be both accurate and fair. All said, this means you are not overpaying for a job due to a poor estimate, or having to deal with rushed work or unexpected charges. Our system also allows us to accurately forecast the length of your project which means you can easily plan around us being in your space with minimal surprises.
